New York’s reliable KULT Records is among the savvy Labels leading the way”
Quote Larry Flick-Billboard Magazine

New York based imprint, KULT Records, was founded in 1993 with the concept of releasing the highest quality of dance music to an ever changing and fast-paced global dance community. With it’s humble beginning, KULT Records was quickly recognized as a pioneering sound with the release of their second 12” entitled “Goodtimes” by Johnny Dangerous feat. Jazmina ; remixed by Masters At Work and Dj Choco. This song introduced KULT Records to an international audience and established a nice cornerstone which
KULT Records did not fail to build upon.

KULT Records has obtained international success through a wide array of dance genres from vocal garage cuts with live instrumentation, groovy bass lines and disco loops to hooky big room anthems with quaking hard hitting percussions, rumbling bottom heavy, hypnotic monster drums. With this in mind, it is no surprise why Billboard Magazine’s Larry Flick is quoted as writing “New York’s reliable KULT Records is among the savvy labels leading the way.” With a little something for everyone, KULT Records through the years has not only developed world-wide fan base but an outstanding diverse catalog as well. DMA Magazine’s Margret Coble agreed when she wrote, “Real enthusiasts have come to eagerly await the release of each new KULT samplers.”

DJs such as as John Digweed, Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia, Pete Tong, Steve Lawler, Dj Sneak, Louie Vega, Cashmire, Angel Moraes, Derrick Carter, Cevin Fisher, Graham Gold as well as crossover dj's such as Mark Anthony, Manny Lehman, Boy George and many more, have shown their support by including KULT Records' music on their popular selling compilations.

The year 2000 saw a lot changes as the label consciously pulled back and restructured its approach to the music and artists they would present. No longer intent on releasing music geared to a Dj tools market, KULT Records revamped their ideology of success and entertainment to encompass the mainstream audiences with the engineering of its chart topping Multi-Act DYNAMIX. Travelling to Japan, South America, Italy, the UK, Germany, Canada and Stateside from the East to the West Coast, Dynamix's music and Artists have become trendsetters of the New York Sounds across the Globe. With the perspective of artist development the label is now focused on its multi-act production house with a label as an outlet to set up talents for the masses.
